Ketoconazole targets the fungus, Malassezia spp., which causes dandruff and medically diagnosed seborrhoeic dermatitis2,3. A clinical trial demonstrated that Nizoral 2% Shampoo is clinically effective in close to 9 out of 10 users1.
Nizoral 2% shampoo is used for treatment of severe dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis; Nizoral 1% shampoo is used for the treatment of dandruff.

Adults and children over 12 years: Apply a small amount of treatment to wet hair and scalp, work into a lather and leave in contact for 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Do this twice weekly.
Ask your doctor before use if you are using topical corticosteroids.
Do not use on children under 12 years or if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Seek medical help if an excessive amount is accidentally ingested. Avoid contact with eyes. If shampoo does get into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
